We are really looking forward to Halloween around here. This will be Seneca's first Halloween and she is going to have a fantastic costume. We have a Halloween party to go to with friends and MaMa Freiberg will also be here to help us celebrate!
Since Seneca can't eat candy (and Chandler and I certainly don't need more candy!), I wasn't sure how the "trick-or-treating" thing would go. Then, the other day, I ran across a really great idea. Unicef, has an annual fundraising campaign called "Trick-or-Treat for Unicef". Unicef provides little trick-or-treat boxes for the kids to collect money to donate. I already picked up Seneca's little box at the local Hallmark store, so she is ready to go.

For all of you "out-of-towners", don't worry! Unicef has an online set-up for trick-or-treating and we have set up a donation page - click here to trick-or-treat for Seneca!
*I was telling MaMa Freiberg about the Unicef trick-or-treating today, and she mentioned that we did this when we were little, too. How cool is that? We are happy to carry on the tradition with Seneca.
